Terms and Conditions of Ticket Purchase
Pankratova Photography Inc. — Photo Walks, New York City

Last updated: October 24, 2026

1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Pankratova Photography Inc., a company organized under the laws of the State of New York, with its place of business in New York, NY (“Company”, “we”, “us”). They apply to every Ticket you buy for a photo walk run by the Company (a “Walk”). By completing a purchase on our website, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms.
“You” or “Participant” means each person who buys a Ticket or attends a Walk. “Ticket” means paid admission for one person to one Walk on a specific date and time. If you buy Tickets for other people, you must give them these Terms and you are responsible for their compliance.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not buy a Ticket.

2. About the Photo Walk
Each Walk is an educational photography walk in public places in New York City, led by a photographer-instructor. Participants take their own photographs and decide for themselves how many pictures to take. We teach technique, composition and how to see the city. We do not take photographs for you and we do not deliver photographs to you.
A Walk takes place with a minimum of 7 and a maximum of 20 Participants. The meeting point, date, start time and approximate duration are shown on the booking page and in your confirmation email. You bring your own camera or smartphone. Unless the booking page says otherwise, a Ticket covers only the guided Walk; transport fares, food, drinks, entry fees and equipment are not included.
We do not guarantee any particular photographic result, level of skill gained, location visited, weather, light or absence of crowds. We may change the route, stops, order or length of a Walk for safety, crowds, closures, events, weather or other circumstances.

3. Booking and Payment
Tickets are sold only through our website. The price, currency and any applicable taxes or fees are shown on the purchase page before you pay, and the price shown at checkout is the price you pay. Payment is due in full at purchase and is processed by a third-party payment provider; we do not store your full card details.
Your booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation email from us. Please enter a correct email address and check your spam folder; we are not responsible for messages that do not reach you because of an incorrect address or spam filters. One Ticket admits one person. Tickets may not be resold or offered for sale.

4. No Refunds
All Ticket sales are final. We do not refund Tickets, in whole or in part, including if you cannot attend, arrive late, leave early, are removed from a Walk under Section 9, or change your mind. This does not limit your right to reschedule under Section 5 or our obligations under Section 6, and nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under applicable law that cannot be waived.
If you believe you were charged incorrectly, please contact us at hello@pankratova.net before disputing the charge with your bank, so that we can resolve it quickly.

5. Rescheduling by You
You may move your Ticket to a different Walk date if all of the following conditions are met:
  • You email hello@pankratova.net no later than 48 hours before the scheduled start time of your Walk. Requests received later cannot be accepted.
  • Each Ticket may be rescheduled one time only.
  • The new date must be a Walk date that we have scheduled, that has available space, and that falls within 3 months after the date of your original Walk.
  • If the Walk on the new date costs more than the Ticket you paid for, you must pay the difference before the reschedule is confirmed. If it costs less, the difference is not refunded or credited.
A reschedule is effective only when we confirm it by email. A Ticket that has been rescheduled once cannot be rescheduled again or refunded. If you do not attend the Walk on the new date, or you do not request a reschedule within the time above, the Ticket is forfeited.

6. Cancellation or Changes by the Company
We may cancel or move a Walk in any of the following cases:
  • Weather and safety. An official warning is in effect for the Walk area or time, such as a National Weather Service warning or a City of New York emergency alert for severe thunderstorms, flooding, tropical storms, snow or ice, extreme heat, or another official safety alert. Rain, cold or heat without an official warning does not cancel a Walk, so please dress for the conditions.
  • Minimum group size. Fewer than 7 Participants are booked for the Walk.
  • Instructor illness, emergency or events beyond our reasonable control, including government orders, public emergencies and major transit or city disruptions.
If we cancel or move a Walk, we will notify you by email, at the address given at purchase, as soon as reasonably practicable, and we will move your Ticket to a new Walk date. This reschedule does not count as your one reschedule under Section 5, and you will not owe any price difference. If the new date we offer does not suit you, you may choose any other Walk date that we schedule and that has available space.
Rescheduling is your only remedy when we cancel or move a Walk. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for costs you incur in connection with a cancelled Walk, such as travel or accommodation.

7. Arrival, Lateness and No-Shows
Please arrive at the meeting point at least 10 minutes before the start time. We wait 15 minutes after the scheduled start time and then begin the Walk without Participants who have not arrived. If you arrive after the Walk has begun, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to find or join the group.
No refund, reschedule or credit is given for late arrival or failure to attend. If you are running late, please email hello@pankratova.net as early as possible.

8. Minors
Walks are intended for adults aged 18 and over. Children may not join a Walk as unticketed companions. A person under 18 may attend only if:
  • the minor holds their own paid Ticket; and
  • the minor is accompanied for the entire Walk by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over, who also holds a paid Ticket.
The accompanying adult accepts these Terms on the minor’s behalf, is fully responsible for the minor’s safety, supervision and conduct, and is bound by Sections 9 and 11 for the minor as well as for themselves. We may refuse admission to an unaccompanied minor, without refund, reschedule or credit.

9. Rules of Conduct
A Walk is a shared experience for a group of people who may not know each other. To keep it pleasant and safe for everyone, each Participant agrees to:
  • Treat the instructor, other Participants and members of the public with courtesy and respect.
  • Not create conflict: no rudeness, insults, harassment, discrimination, threats or aggressive behavior.
  • Not start or join arguments or debates about politics, religion or other divisive topics during the Walk, and to drop the subject when asked.
  • Follow the instructor’s reasonable instructions on safety, route and timing, and stay with the group.
  • Stay clear of traffic and not enter closed areas, private property or restricted places.
  • Not attend while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.
  • Not photograph, film or record other Participants or members of the public in a harassing, intrusive or disrespectful way, and stop immediately if someone objects.
  • Not use drones, and not use the Walk to promote or sell their own goods or services or to run their own commercial shoot.
  • Take responsibility for their own belongings and equipment.
We may warn any Participant and, at our sole discretion, remove from the Walk anyone who breaks these rules or endangers or disturbs others. A Participant who is removed receives no refund, reschedule or credit. Where conduct is unlawful, we may involve the authorities.

10. Photography, Recordings and Your Photos
Your photographs. You own the photographs you take during the Walk, and we claim no rights in them. You are responsible for how you use them, including any rights of people or property shown in them.
Our photographs and videos. During a Walk we may photograph and film the group and individual Participants for our portfolio, website, social media, advertising and other promotional materials. By buying a Ticket and attending, you give the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use these photographs and recordings for those purposes, without compensation and without prior review.
Your right to opt out. If you do not want to appear in our materials, tell us in writing at hello@pankratova.net before the Walk, or tell the instructor at the start of the Walk. We will avoid featuring you, and on your written request we will remove published images of you from our own channels within a reasonable time. We cannot recall materials already printed or copies shared by others. For a minor, the accompanying parent or guardian may make this request.

11. Assumption of Risk, Release and Limitation of Liability
Assumption of risk. Walks take place outdoors in a busy city. Risks include uneven surfaces, stairs, traffic, crowds, cyclists, weather, slips and falls, theft or loss of belongings, damage to cameras and phones, and the actions of other people. You confirm that you are physically able to take part in an outdoor walking tour of the duration shown on the booking page, that you take part voluntarily and at your own risk, and that you are responsible for your own health, safety, belongings and equipment.
Release. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release the Company and its owners, officers, employees, instructors and contractors from, and agree not to hold them liable for, any injury, illness, death, loss, theft or damage to person or property arising from your participation in a Walk, except to the extent caused by their gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company’s total liability to you for all claims relating to a Walk or a Ticket will not exceed the price you paid for that Ticket, and the Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, such as lost profits, travel costs or missed opportunities. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Indemnification. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from claims, damages and costs, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your breach of these Terms or from your conduct that injures other people or damages property, including the conduct of any minor you accompany.

12. Public Places, Laws and Third Parties
Walks take place in public places and are subject to the rules of the places we visit. You must comply with all applicable laws and rules, including New York City park and transit rules and the instructions of police and venue staff. Where photography is prohibited or restricted, you must respect that.
We are not responsible for the actions of third parties, businesses, venues or authorities, or for closures, restrictions or changes affecting the places we visit.

13. Privacy
We collect the information you provide at purchase (your name, email address and Ticket details) and a payment confirmation from our payment provider. We use it to process your booking, send confirmations and notices about your Walk, respond to your messages, and meet our legal and tax obligations. With your consent, we may also send news about future Walks, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate, such as payment processing, website hosting and email, and when required by law. To ask about or request deletion of your information, email hello@pankratova.net. Any separate Privacy Policy published on our website applies in addition to this section.

14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms, and any dispute arising from them or from a Ticket or Walk, are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Before starting any court action, you agree to send us written notice of your claim at hello@pankratova.net, describing the problem and the outcome you seek, and to give us 30 days to try to resolve it in good faith. If the dispute is not resolved, it must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you and the Company consent to the jurisdiction and venue of those courts. Nothing in this section limits any right that cannot be waived under applicable law.

15. General Provisions
  • Changes. We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect when you buy your Ticket applies to that Ticket.
  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the details on the booking page and your confirmation email, are the entire agreement between you and the Company about your Ticket.
  • Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest of these Terms remains in effect.
  • No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may assign ours to a successor to our business.
  • Notices. We will send notices to the email address you gave at purchase. You may contact us at the address below.
  • Language. These Terms are in English. Any translation is for convenience only, and the English version prevails.
